Main Attractions

Kalemegdan Fortress

Situated above the confluence of the Sava and Danube rivers, Kalemegdan Fortress is one of Belgrade’s most iconic landmarks and offers panoramic views across the city and rivers. The surrounding Kalemegdan Park is one of the city’s most popular green spaces.

Knez Mihailova Street

Belgrade’s main pedestrian street connects the city centre with Kalemegdan Fortress and is lined with cafés, shops, historic buildings and cultural institutions. It is one of the city’s main meeting points and social hubs.

Ada Ciganlija

Known locally as “Belgrade’s Sea,” Ada Ciganlija is a popular recreational island and lakeside area offering beaches, sports facilities, cafés, cycling paths and outdoor activities. During summer, it becomes one of the city’s main leisure destinations.

Weather

June in Belgrade offers warm, early-summer conditions, with daytime temperatures around 26–28 °C and cooler evenings near 16–17 °C. Expect plenty of sunshine with occasional short rain showers, making it a pleasant time for sightseeing and outdoor activities.
