Getting to the Conference
Welcome to the official travel guide for the 57th International FIS Congress 2026 in Belgrade. Below you will find everything you need to plan your trip.
Important Information
Participants are kindly reminded that Serbia is not part of the European Union or the Schengen Area. It is therefore important to travel with a valid passport, and not only with a national ID card. Delegates are encouraged to verify visa and entry requirements with their local Serbian embassy or consulate prior to travel
By Car
The venue is easily accessible via the E70 and E75 motorways.
Parking: Sava Centar offers extensive onsite parking facilities (subject to a fee) with approximately 950 parking spaces available around the venue complex, including convenient access points from the surrounding main roads. Parking is suitable for both short-term and all-day congress use.
Petrol stations: Participants travelling by car are advised that some petrol stations in Serbia may have limitations regarding international Visa or credit card payments. It is therefore recommended to:
- carry some cash in Serbian Dinar (RSD),
- and, where possible, use larger international petrol station chains such as OMV or MOL for refuelling.
By Air

Airport Transfers
Official airport transfer services are available between Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport and the official hotel.

Indicative transfer rates:
- Standard car (Škoda Superb):
- 1 passenger: 40€
- 2 passengers: 50€ total
- 3 passengers: 75€ total
- Minivan service (Mercedes V-Class, up to 7 passengers):
- 25€ per passenger
A dedicated FIS welcome point and airport host service will also be available in the arrival area to assist delegates upon arrival.
Taxis & Transportation
Recommended options include:
- official taxi companies
- hotel taxis
- rideshare applications such as CarGo and Yandex Go
Participants are advised to avoid unofficial taxis outside the airport.
Approximate travel times:
- Airport → Crowne Plaza Belgrade: approximately 15–20 min depending on traffic
- Crowne Plaza Belgrade → Sava Centar: walking distance / short transfer

The local currency is the Serbian Dinar (RSD).
- Credit cards are widely accepted.
- ATMs are available at the airport, hotels and throughout the city.
- Some taxis and smaller establishments may prefer cash payments.
